La richiesta per la tesi (sia triennale sia magistrale) alla prof. Montini come relatrice dovrà essere preceduta dalla proposta da parte dello studente di due argomenti di tesi (presentazione scritta e piccola bibliografia) quando mancano tre esami alla fine del proprio percorso di studio. Le due proposte vanno inviate alla docente via mail. Solo successivamente lo studente potrà presentarsi al ricevimento per poter discutere le proposte.  Insieme alla proposta va inviata alla docente una breve scheda riassuntiva che contenga nome e cognome, matricola, anno di immatricolazione , altra lingua studiata nel triennio,  percorso fatto con gli esami di Lingua e traduzione inglese, (anno per anno, docente e voto finale).

Seguono le aree di studio della prof. Montini come relatrice:

Analisi del testo narrativo; Semiotica del linguaggio teatrale; Stilistica e retorica; Analisi del discorso e della comunicazione politica; Analisi del testo epistolare; Didattica della letteratura; Storia della lingua inglese. 

The request for a thesis (either three-year or master's degree) to Prof. Montini as the supervisor should be preceded by the student's proposal of two thesis topics (written presentation and initial short bibliography) when there are three exams left to the end of their course of study. The two proposals should be sent to the lecturer by e-mail. Only then, can the student come to the office hours  in order to discuss the proposals.  Together with the proposal, a short summary sheet should be sent to the professor containing:  name, surname, matriculation, year of matriculation , other language studied in the three-year period, path taken with English Language and Translation exams, (year by year, professor and final grade).
